🌿 Never Too Late to Restart — My 2023 Health Resolution

At the beginning of 2023, I made a simple yet meaningful resolution — to lower my HbA1C to 6.5 and take better care of my health.
I mapped out everything carefully — from what to eat, how to exercise, even what snacks to keep in my bag in case of low sugar.

I planned to have oats for breakfast, lighter vegetarian lunches, and balanced dinners.
I even listed the tools that would help me succeed — my Apple Watch, Libre sensor, and AirPods to make walking easier.

It was all there — clear and achievable.

But somewhere along the way, life got busy. My routine drifted, and the resolution quietly faded into the background.

Still, I’ve learned that it’s never too late to start again.

A Fresh Restart

I’ve decided to pick it up once more — not with guilt, but with gratitude.
This time, I’ll keep things simple and sustainable:

  • 🥣 Diet: Go back to my healthy meals — oats, soup, vegetables, and fewer noodles.
  • 🚶‍♂️ Exercise: Walk more, stand more, and use my Apple Watch to stay accountable.
  • 💊 Medication: Keep up with regular checks and reminders.
  • 🍎 Snacks: Carry a small chocolate bar or fruit to avoid low sugar.

Looking Ahead

The plan that started with “Health” is now expanding into something bigger —
a more balanced life covering learning, creativity, and reflection.

This time, I’m not chasing perfection.
I’m simply staying committed — one small, steady step at a time.

Because every restart counts. 🌤️


🌱 永远不嫌晚 —— 我 2023 的健康计划

2023 年初,我为自己设下了一个目标:
糖化血色素(HbA1C)降到 6.5,重新管理好健康。

我画了一张心智图,把每个细节都列出来:
吃什么、走多少路、要带什么零食、怎样提醒自己吃药。
还特别写上我拥有的“工具”——Apple Watch、Libre 血糖感应器、AirPods,让走路更轻松。

计划很完整,也很实际。

但后来忙于教学、出差、生活琐事,计划慢慢被放在一旁。
直到最近,我突然想起:
开始永远不嫌晚。

🌿 重新开始

这次,我决定重新出发,不责怪过去的自己,只感谢现在还有机会。

  • 🥣 饮食: 回到清淡饮食,多吃燕麦、汤、蔬菜,少吃面。
  • 🚶‍♂️ 运动: 多走路、多站立,用 Apple Watch 记录步数。
  • 💊 药物: 规律服药,提醒自己不漏吃。
  • 🍫 小食: 随身带点巧克力或水果,防止低血糖。

🌤 展望未来

这一份健康计划,也让我重新思考生活的平衡。
除了身体,我还想把这种“规划与实践”的精神延伸到学习与创作上。

慢一点没关系,只要不停下脚步。
因为,每一次重新开始,都是一种进步。💫
