Time-Zoned Out — My CNN Confusion Chronicles| 🕘 被时区玩坏的我 — CNN 时间穿越记
Every night at 9 PM, I grab my cup of tea and settle in for my daily CNN ritual. I know the anchors by name — their hellos feel like part of my bedtime routine.
Then one evening — bam! — new anchor, new vibe, and the whole lineup felt off by… exactly one hour.
I sat there thinking, “Wait, did CNN fire my favorite host? Or did I accidentally switch to another time zone?”
Turns out, the mystery wasn’t in Atlanta — it was in the clock. The U.S. had just ended Daylight Saving Time and rolled their clocks back an hour. Which means from Singapore’s point of view, everything from New York now starts an hour later.
So while they’re getting an extra hour of sleep, I’m here wondering who this new person is and what happened to my nightly anchor friend.
Maybe it’s not called Daylight Saving Time after all.
Maybe it’s Confuse-the-Viewer Time. ☕🌀
